Europe offers some of the best centralized education systems in the world (Do you know that with IEPC its effortless to study in Europe for Pakistani Students?)
Study in Europe
Europe encompasses 40+ countries in its surface area and has a highly well reputed status as a hub of academic excellence. This continent incorporates some of the world’s top universities such as The University of Copenhagen (Denmark), University of Munich (Germany), Trinity College Dublin (Ireland), Pierre and Marie Curie University (France) and Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) to name a few. Owing to the Bologna process of reformations, the academic framework of most of the European countries is uniform, making it possible for a Master’s degree from Sweden to be equivalent to the Master’s degree from Germany, Lithuania or the UK. According to the 2019 QS World University Rankings, 5 of the World’s best 10 universities are in Europe. Moreover, a 2018 study by study.EU uncovered that a great number of international students are attracted to European universities because of their quality of education and affordability (tuition fees + living expenses). Overall, the study found that Germany is the most popular study destination for international students followed by UK, France and The Netherlands.
The university system of Europe is mostly based on public funding and this is the reason that European universities provide excellent quality education with very low and sometimes, no tuition fees. Some of the perks of being an international student in Europe are culturally rich cityscapes, excellent living standards, and active social lives.
International students are welcomed by European universities. Although they might have to pay for their course being a non-EU citizen, they can also apply in various scholarships or funding almost anywhere. Europe has allocated over 16 billion EUR worth of scholarships every year.
Even-though tuition fees at European Universities vary a lot, yet they are still significantly lower than the tuition fees of North-American and Australian universities.
