In its strategic education plan for 2017-2021, UAE aims to increase its graduation rate from 96.7 percent to 98 percent. The government of the UAE has put great effort into their education system. There is a sufficient number of high-ranking universities in the UAE which are government-run as well as privately run. Six of the universities in UAE are featured in the QS World’s university rankings 2018, and a further seven of these universities are featured in the 2018 edition of QS Arab Region University Rankings.
